Tasty Banana Recipes for Kids

Banana is considered one of the most wholesome foods for babies. For the babies who are fussy in eating, banana acts as a perfect solution for taste enhancer as well as dietary supplements. Most of the babies love bananas as it is easy to eat and digest. The soft and smooth pulp of banana can be easily swallowed even by 6 months old babies.

The nutritional value of banana is unprecedented. Being a very good source of vitamin B6, they are also rich in calcium, manganese, potassium, vitamin C, copper, biotin and dietary fiber. Having known the importance of such a power packed fruit now is the time we learn a few delicious recipes of banana that our kids can enjoy and slurp in minutes!

The Yummy Banana Custard!
Ingredients: 2 banana, ½ cup milk, nutmeg, 2 egg yolks
Put all the ingredients in a blender and let them churn to form a consistency. Take out the mixture into a suitable baking ware and let it be baked at 180 degree for 10-20 minutes depending on the consistency of the mixture. Test with a knife or toothpick, if it comes out clean, your yummilicious custard is ready to be served to the little ones!

The delicious Banana Cream Paste:
Ingredients: 2 ripe Bananas, ½ cup of fresh cream (preferable the homemade fresh cream from full fat milk), ½ tsp powdered sugar (you can use honey if your child prefers)

Simply mash the bananas in a bowl. Add the fresh cream and whisk a little more. When the consistency becomes like paste, add sugar and keep it in the fridge for about 10 minutes.

Kids would love to eat this super healthy and cool summer surprise!

The lip-smacking Banana Pudding:
Ingredients: 1 cup brown rice, 1 banana, ½ cup yogurt, ½ tsp vanilla, pinch of ginger.
Cook and prepare the rice in a suitable vessel (till they become soft).

Mash banana to form puree like consistency.

Pour the cooked rice, banana puree, yogurt, vanilla and ginger in a cooking pan and turn on the flame to medium. Stir it for 3-5 minutes.

Serve to children when cooled down!
